Clearblue Nightmare!!!

Hi all!

I'm 12 DPO Af due in 2/3 Days and this morning had the urge to test. I only had one test, which was a clear blue date checker test (stupid to take when It's early I know, but like I say I just had the urge) anyway test malfunctioned and didn't give a result after the hour glass started. So again to continue my stupid streak I took the test apart. Just out of curiosity really. When I did I saw 3 lines ( which I know is invalid and now understand that all these tests show 3 lines apparently) but I just can't shake the feeling that this time I could be pregnant. So I nipped out to pick up another test but in my panic got the wrong one. Another clear blue dye test and date checking. The dye clear blue was negative but showing the control line before I even peed on it so now I'm wondering could this also be a faulty test? The digital was negative which im gutted about, but still wondering if it could be just too early to detect on a digital date checker?? Anyway I'm sorry I know I sound crazy (which I feel) but do you think it's worth going out again and getting another test that is early detect?

@7gdr5 Sorry lovely. That's the first one of the bunch that I can't see the line. All the others I can see but it's a bit too blurry. Can you see a line in person? I've only seen evaps on pink dye strips if you let them develop next to a LH strip. If you can see a line, I would be inclined to belive it. Keep the hope dear. Xx

Don't apologise, thank you for responding to my crazy ass! It was a picture from this morning that I relooked at, the strip is long gone. It's hard to keep the hope, I'm just questioning all the other faints from the tests! But we shall see nonetheless.

@7gdr5 I know its hard but try to take you mind off it and maybe test again before bed? I know it's hard bit I think all your tests have looked really promising. I've been trying for years and I've never had any tests like that. Think positive dear!

I've started with mild cramps so think AF is on uts way. 🙄

@BearsLoveBeats I know right it's so confusing! Been driving me nuts because it's limbo as opposed to definite bfn. Not going to test anymore till the weekend for my own sanity.

@7gdr5 Hey! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and maybe you got some good news this cycle.

I'm okay, I was feeling really positive this cycle. But not so sure anymore. I'm 12DPO today. Had a few twinges, a bit like ovulation pain but not much. I usually have really clear skin but have broke out in a couple of massive spots over thr last couple of days. I don't usually get them but I suppose could be a sign of AF coming? I'm due on Sunday (My birthday 😖) or Monday so it can either be a gorgeous birthday or a really sad one. I've done a test this morning and I have the usual lime eyes, convinced I see the start of aomthing but think it's in my head. How are you doing? Where are you up to this cycle x x x

Thank you! Yeah I really need to try and not stress, there's nothing I can do just need to wait out this early stage.

@7gdr5 Thank you! I appreciate that. I have seen a few sparky comments on here, where people can be a little judgey about early testers, so I'm always a little apprehensive to post. I will definitely keep you updated though!

Hoe did you feel on the run up to you BFP? Did you have any wild symptoms? Super happy for you! Try and calm down, I know it must be difficult. Think positive! It's lovely news xx

I got implantation cramps 6/7dpo. Nothing else really until the last couple of days where I've felt a bit lightheaded/nauseous. Got some really mild cramping which I'm not too concerned about as I think it's quite common when you reach when AF would be due. And I've got really sensitive boob's now too!

I'm bleeding today 🙁 and line is still faint so I'm pretty sure I've having a chemical.

Did you test today?

@7gdr5 oh no! Everything old still be okay. I know people who had some bleeding early on and still gone onto have healthy pregnancies. I really hope this is the case for you.

I tested again this morning and BFN, which would be 13 DPO so I think I'm out now tbh. Af due tomorrow/Mondayxx

Unfortunately I was at the hospital today because I had ectopic symptoms 🙁 they confirmed a miscarriage. Just will go back Monday to have another set of bloods to rule out an ectopic.

@7gdr5 oh no! How awful. I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Sorry, I know that's a stupid question, of course your not I hope your atleast not in too much pain. So so so so sorry for your loss dear. Such dad news.

Still BFN over here. Although still convinced I can see squinters on test strips, think it's all on my head. Xx

@7gdr5 I keep thinking I can see somthing too but I'm sure if it was there it would be a more definite line by 14 dpo? It's confusing! Trying to do a 4 hour hold so I can test again but since deciding it's made me want to go all the more haha.
