Line Progression after Chemical Pregnancy

Hi lovelies,

This year we’ve been TTC for our first, and so far we’ve had two chemical pregnancies (including one last cycle).

I’ve been having positive pregnancy tests again this cycle, but I’m too scared to get excited after our previous early losses.

Those in a similar boat (or who were in the past), how long would you continue to do line progression / how long would you wait after your first positive before getting excited? Terrified of getting excited then being broken again 😫

I've not had a chemical so that advice I'm afraid I can't help with.. but with my first (now 6 yrs old!) I kept testing and they started going backwards and I got super worried. I came on here and was told about the hook effect where the hCG becomes too high for the tests. I was terrified but it was totally normal through to labour
