Does anyone’s cycles vary a lot.

So the past few months, this has been mine… it’s looking like a cycle 33 for me now.
but they varied from 27 - 36 days! Is it normal for such a change… I remember them being a bit more like clockwork.

hoping to start TTC the end of the year for DC2 but worried for some reason

Does anyone’s cycles vary a lot.

As it says on the main topic page, this is the topic for the discussion of contraception.

If you want to TTC soon, then a barrier method is probably the most suitable. But if a shorter term aim of having a regular cycle for a while is more important, then have you considered going on the pill? (OK withdrawal bleeds rather than a true period, but does have the advantage of predictability) Better not to hop on and off it too rapidly though. So even if you really are after a regular cycle for a while, I wouldn't go this way for less than 6months minimum (and longer, better)

Omg! Didn’t even realise, or I might have read it as conception, rather than contraception.

no, I just wanted to know if peoples cycles varied.

Hi, OP. We've moved your thread for you now.

Mother nature is a bitch - before I started TTC I was 28 days like clockwork, these days I vary between 24-32 days
I've had my fair share of tests over the years and I'm told there are no problems = normal

Wonder why… I can’t help thinking my awful diet (just a chocolate and crisps diet) has given me PCOS, or something to cause the variation.

I’ll try eating healthier.

I haven’t even been able to track ovulation. I think it was late as CD25 on one of the 36’s and because it’s so late.. I ran out of ovulation sticks tracking this one. I got to CD22.

honestly!

just hoping I can conceive DC2 as easily as DC1… but I think that would be naive!
