Recurrent chemicals… any success stories?

I recently wrote about having a BFP 5 cycles after a chemical pregnancy, and I am currently going through another chemical which is just devastating.

Whilst I wait this out, was hoping someone might have any success stories of conceiving after recurrent chemicals? Feels like it’ll never happen for us xx

I feel your pain. I've had 4 chemical pregnancies since June this year

Hi, I am currently going through a chemical myself (4 weeks + 5 days), started bleeding today. This is my second loss, My first was a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks, I then had a successful pregnancy and now have a 3 year old son and now trying for baby number 2 and 3rd month of trying, we've now had a chemical.

No advice on recurring chemicals but obviously I've had my son in between losses. From what I've seen, it seems to be such a common experience and lot's of other women going through the same thing.

You could potentially do a blood panel (not sure NHS will do unless you have symptoms) But I did a well women check privately where they look at thyroid function, vid d levels and about 30 other things. I also added a fertility package on. Mine all came back ok other than I do have an under active thyroid so I am currently medicated for that. Thyroid function can have a big impact on fertility.

To be honest it is probably very normal but for peace of mind and if you do want to spend the money, there are a few basic blood tests you can do to see if there is anything else going on xx

I had 2 chemical pregnancies after my first was born, then a successful second pregnancy and third too. Since my third I've had an early miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy, and currently worried about another chemical too.

Sounds like we’re all in this together ladies! I’m currently waiting to bleed, have made it further than my last one which I’ll take as a win. Think I’m going to book in with a recurrent miscarriage clinic and get all that stuff done privately for peace of mind. It’s so positive to hear there have been successful pregnancies in between! I am so sorry to everyone for what you’re going through 🩵 the anxiety is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced
