So we have been trying for a second child for 2 years, our LO is 3 soon to be 4 so we do not fill the criteria for IVF on the NHS which makes me nervous if this last resort doesn’t work.
I have been diagnosed with PCOS and have irregular hormone levels. My period is so irregular I’m currently on day 43 of my cycle even with medication. I’m currently on 150mg metformin daily, have been since May last year which has helped my cycles but no pregnancy.. I have now been put on clomid to encourage ovulation. I’m just looking for some advice and positive stories as how I currently feel I just don’t think it’s going to happen for us.. very negative but as I’m sure many of you can relate too I am so broken by seeing negative tests.
Can I please just add I hope this doesn’t come across as insensitive as I know we are so very blessed to have our little girl but I am still finding this journey incredibly hard. TIA x
