Dh and I are due to start iui (and then ivf next month or the month after if iui doesn't work). I know quite a bit about nutritional advice when ttc naturally (having done so for two years now!) but i wondered if there are any major no-nos or solid advice before embarking on ivf? ta x

my GP put my drugs on an nhs script too - he told me I was entitled to 2 such scripts per financial year.

well it sounds like the good ones tend to do it - ie money isn't necessarily their biggest motive

Ladymuck - saw your post re getting scripts on NHS - hope you don't mind me butting in - is this an official entitlement because if so I 'd be very grateful becuase we are about to start ICSi and could do with any help to reduce the expense. If not official don't worry about the details - I am just happy some one is getting help

Two things to add, water water water, drink lots of water.

NHS Scripts, from what I can gather it is up to your local GP, so postcode lottery.

The area that I live in does not fund IVF at all and despite pleading and begging, our Dr would not write the scipts. However, somebody in the same town as me under a different Dr got NHS scipts.

Good luck to anybody that can get them on the NHS, certainly worth trying but no guarantee unfortunaltly
