Mounjaro/ Tirzepatide and letrozole

I just wondered if anyone had any information on taking mounjaro/tirzepatide whilst taking letrozole? Has anyone done this ? I have emailed my fertility nurse but thought I'd ask on here in the mean time.

Fairly certain guidance is to come off MJ 2 months before TTC. So I can't imagine your fertility clinic will say it's ok.

Can I gatecrash your post and ask how you're getting on with taking letrozole? Have you been taking it long? I'm on cycle 3 of 2.5mg

I'm on my 3rd cycle too, just took my first tablet of this cycle. I haven't had any side effects as of yet. How are you feeling ?

I take my first tablet of this cycle tomorrow. No real side effects thankfully, other than a couple of hot flushes I think.

Are you doing 6 months of 2.5mg? I haven't been ovulating until cd22/23 so I'm not convinced it is working for me but have been advised to continue with the 2.5mg.

Yes I'm on a 6 month course too! I've been ovulating a lot earlier than I'm "supposed" to going by apps etc, if I wasn't testing straight after my period ended I would have missed it as I ovulate 3 days after my period. Fingers crossed for us 🙏

The safety of the injectable weight loss agents has not been proven in early pregnancy and therefore the advice is to stop all injectable weight loss drugs 3 months prior to conception. We would not recommend that you use Tirzepatide while actively trying to conceive. All of these agents come with the advice that you should be on effective contraception during use.

Hope this cycle went ok without any side effects. I have been having a few aches and pains in my arms and apparently that's a side effect, strange.
