Hey, I'm trying to conceive baby no.1, just starting my second cycle. My partner struggles with staying hard during sex and ejaculating inside me, especially when expected to 'perform' during the ovulation window. The pressure gets to him. We found some success with him nearly finishing himself off and then putting it inside me at the end, but the process of putting it in sometimes threw him off and stopped him...

It's very frustrating for both of us and I need a way to try take the pressure off him and stop him overthinking. I am looking into getting some cups and syringes as a bit of a back up incase this continues being an issue this month. Plan would be for him to produce a fresh sample and then me use the syringe.... Romantic! 😅

Has anyone done this? Thanks :)

Hi OP, it's more common than you think! There are lots of threads with plenty of information and success stories. Me and my partner also use this technique a few times each month just to take the pressure off things.
I just purchase some cheap, round or flat head syringes from amazon and a small plastic cup. Nothing fancy. People even use calpol syringes. Your DP will ejaculate into cup, leave it for 5- 10 mins for it to emulsify otherwise it will be too watery.. then insert 😅
We've not been successful yet but there are other factors for us and I'm having a hycosy at the end of the month! Good luck to you! ❤️

Yes - my close friend tried this successfully and got pregnant in 2 months.

Hi, this is how we are doing it as we are a same sex couple, loads of people use calpol syringes and say they work the best :)

I've had 4 children this way.

Yes! It can be a very stressful time and I think it helps take the pressure off. I used this method and am currently 36 weeks pregnant :D

After a lot of googling and reading other mumsnet posts, I got some specimen cups and anal lube syringes from Amazon (I think any syringe that is flat would probably work though)

Good luck!

Yep 3 pregnancies conceived this way as DH had trouble finishing when TTC.

I just bought some pots and flat syringes off Amazon. And lay with my legs up for 30 minutes after inserting.
