I had the depo shot for the first time in July, I was on desogestrel before but was bleeding constantly with it so wanted to try something new. I hated the shot it made me feel really depressed and all over the place almost like being a teenager again and completely killed my sex drive!! I decided to not get another one and try out a copper coil which I'm having inserted next week, I have a one year old son and not planning on having another for a couple of years atleast. I was due my next shot last week but didn't have it done and last night I came on what seems like my period, pretty heavy and painful, ive read it can take months to come back so was just wondering if anyone has had the same or if it is more likely withdrawal bleeding!!
