14 DPO Cramps and Spotting

Right, so......

Been TTC for almost 3 years and this is the first cycle that I have actually had some new/strange symptoms. I've had alot of different CM this cyclr; the volume has increased and the consistency is completely different to what I have experienced in previous cycles. AF is due today, CM would have usually started to dry up a couple of days prior to AF but this cycle its remained constant and very wet (sorry TMI).
I'm 14 DPO today and had some cramping this morning and light brown/pink spotting when I wipe.
I'm just wondering if this could be implantation bleeding or is it too late and just the start of AF? I would normally think it was definitely AF on its way but just have this nagging thought at how different I have felt this cycle. May just be clutching at straws...its hard not so after so long. I tested at 12 DPO with my last test and BFN. Will wait to see if AF arrives tomorrow and if not will test on Friday.
Has anyone else experienced the wierd CM or spotting and cramps at this stage and ended with BFP?

Thanks ladies xx

Hi Op, I don't have any experience of a BFP I'm afraid 😞 but I didn't want to read and run as I am kind of in a similar situation.
I am 12dpo today and AF is due tomorrow according to Flo and Premom apps. I got a bfn this morning so have pretty much ruled myself out this month, but I've seen so many don't get BFP until 13/14 and even 15dpo sometimes! Makes me cling to a tiny thread of hope! 🤞🏼
I have noticed lots more CM this cycle too, which is unusual for me after ovulation. Even this morning I was sure my AF had started but nothing.

Did you test this morning??

Hi @Firsttime2023 . Thank you so much for responding!
Unfortunately I didn't need to test today as AF arrived when I had woken up. 2 days late. I was convinced. Heart broken today.
I hope you get a more positive result than me. How are you doing? Have you tested yet? FC for you Xx

@BearsLoveBeats oh sorry to hear AF arrived for you. I am 2 days late but no sign of it yet and BfN this morning so I am definitely out!
I have just made appointments for private fertility treatment though so I feel like at least I have a plan now!

Have you had any fertility treatments so far? 💕

BearsLoveBeats · 01/11/2024 13:58

We have had all the tests. Tried to have them through the NHS but was waiting over 12 months for our referral to the fertility clinic so they were all out of date by the time we had out consultation. Paid to have them done private I the end. DH has some low sperm results so we are currently month 2 into 6 months of supplements for him along with some lifestyle changes (switching from baths to showers) and if nothing changes we are going to go back and look at getting a helping hand. Its been a bloody long 3 years trying. It's so hard at times especially trying to get someone on the NHS to speak to.
Thats excellent! Always good to have a plan. Atleast then it feels like there is somthing happening. What are you having private? (Hope thats not too nosey) x x

@BearsLoveBeats sounds familiar! I tried through the GP on NHS and to be fair it was only 3 weeks ago I went but the referral still hasn't even been done!! They take 6 weeks to make the referral and then you have the waiting time from fertility clinic......when I saw I could get a private app in less than 2 weeks I thought screw it! It's my life at the end of the day. I'm 38 I don't have a year to wait!!
So I am having a scan I assume ultrasound and then a full consultation to discuss options following scan results. We've already done bloods and semen analysis which so far has all been normal.
Every month feels like Groundhog Day at the moment. Full of optimism at the beginning of the month and then emotional mess at the end when AF arrives 😫 it's having an impact on our relationship too now as dtd has become a bit of a chore and it's so hard trying to keep the fun in the relationship! I never knew ttc would be this tough 😞 I'm so sorry you've had to go through 3 years of it 💕
