How soon after implantation was your BFP?

So as the title suggests I have indications of implantation and wondering from previous experience how long after implantation did anyone get their BFP. I am 6DPO for anyone who wants to come along if they’re in a similar timeframe to me.

@AshleyNoelle yes everyone is different so I am looking to hear people’s personal experiences. I have googled and didn’t find individual answers which is what I have requested. Many thanks for your short reply. Good night.

Why so unnecessarily unpleasant? You can just choose not to reply if you can't be bothered to be decent. Everyone knows you can google - many people also seek advice and experiences on discussion threads. Welcome to the purpose of a forum.

OP, based on lining tingling sensations I assume implantation happened for me on day 8. I tested positive on day 10. Unsure if I would've done earlier as 10 DPO was my first test. Good luck!

I had light spotting and some odd cramps at 6dpo which I thought could be implantation starting. Got a bfn at 9dpo then a bfp at 12dpo. It was fairly noticeable when it came up so probably would have got a faint line at 10 or 11dpo if I'd tested then.

Good luck!

I had spotting and cramps at 6dpo and then had bfn day 9 and 10 but day 11 had a faint line. Good luck

@AshleyNoelle is going post to post being rude to people. Must have nothing going on in their life. Sad, really.

You will never know when an embryo implants unfortunately. You can tell when you ovulate, implantation tends to happen between 6-12 days after ovulation, and you should get a positive pregnancy test around 48hrs after implantation (once HCG has had chance to increase to levels that will show up on pregnancy tests). For me, the first pregnancy I had I didn't test until way later so don't know when I would have got a positive test. The second and third was at 10dpo.

molin · 20/10/2024 12:16

I tested positive at 10DPO with my 2nd but it was FAINT.

Had I not been obsessed with testing, I don't think I would have noticed it. I was there with my phone light on, test by a window etc 🤣. Slightly obsessed. The line was a lot more obvious around 13 DPO.

I'm 4DPO now and started having cramps but won't get excited!

Thanks everyone. I should really just try to be more patient. I had some cramping on R side followed by pink CM yesterday. My previous positive tests were usually 10DPO but I don’t think I got signs this early. Was more curious if it was 2 or 4 days to wait to test. Will try to hold out until day 10 but never usually manage it.

@molin did you test yet?

Hi! I'm 11DPO, had some spotting this week but still BFN. Maybe it's too early to test, or maybe its not meant to be this month..either way, it's driving me mad!!

VioIetMoon · 27/10/2024 17:59

I've only ever had one natural pregnancy ( MC) but we only did it one time that month and I had my bfp at 17dpo but it was very faint.
My second pregnancy was ivf so I know exact implantation date and my bfp 10 days after transfer which is equivalent to 15dpo and again super faint line at that point.

Thanks, that's good to know about timings, maybe it is too early. I just never, ever have a period like this so either I'm pregnant or maybe I'm peri-menopausal!

@Natasha198 how are things going? Any sign of BFP or AF?

AF finally arrived at the weekend! I was relieved in the end as I was driving myself mad with tests. Maybe next month will be lucky!

How about you?

I got a faint line day 9. Haven’t tested since 11dpo as we’re on holidays atm but no reason to doubt it.

I felt implantation around 1am on 8dpo and got the faintest of lines at 8am on 10dpo.

Aww amazing, congratulations!! Sending you lots of well wishes! 😊

DS was an IVF pregnancy. I had a very, very faint positive on day 6. I thought it may be leftover HCG from the medication, but on day 7 it was a slightly darker line and then so on. Think you're supposed to wait until about 10 days, so still not sure how it was possible!

Because you add five days (assuming it was a five day transfer), so you got your BFP on day 11 😊

MillenialAvocado · 30/10/2024 16:54

@Decaffe he was actually a 3 day transfer, but I didn't know that about the adding days! So it must've been 9 days, and I was using one of the early response tests. Makes much more sense now, thank you! Smile

Decaffe · 30/10/2024 16:58

Ah you’re welcome, and congratulations on your DS!

Well AF arrived last night so I'm out 😔
