I’ve had a few days of fertility medication I felt stressed before starting but have now just stopped - what do I do? The clinic just said basically no problem it’s an ‘abandoned cycle’ and ‘use protection if you don’t want to get pregnant’ but for how long and will it have any long term effects or will I just have my next period and it’ll all be out of my system.

I don’t really want to go into reasons why other than it’s been years and I thought it was just nerves but I’ve realised it’s not what I want anymore

You use protection if you don't want to get pregnant until such time as you are safely past menopause. Regardless of how unlikely it is you can conceive naturally, these things do very occasionally happen.

The other questions - ask your clinic.

If you don't want to ask the clinic, then I expect people on here might be prepared to give you their non medical opinions, but you will definitely need to say what the name of the medication is!

It will be out of your system after your next period
