17dpo Faint Positive Line

Hello All,

I was hoping to get some opinion on my current situation.

My husband and I have been ttc for about a year. Never had a positive test, not even the faintest line ever.

I am currently 17 dpo (even though I think I ovulated a bit later than the app Flo predicted - I did not tested for ovulation).

I had very light spotting on Friday 13 dpo, and Saturday 14dpo (but most likely it was 11 and 12 dpo.

This morning (second urine of the day) I have decided to test and I think I see a faint line.

Do you also see it? Am I imaging it???

@TTCAmely Hi, yes I see the line 😊😊id just get a digital now or any other test and tried to see if there will also be a faint line again. Fingers crossed 🤞

I am so nervous rn! I have a ClearBlue Double Check and date at home and I was thinking on taking it later this afternoon, or do you think I should wait until tomorrow morning? Xx

I would wait until the morning. Maybe you ovulated later than you thought. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I would do it now. 17dpo should be a clear result. Just don’t wee for a couple of hours then do it.

@TTCAmely I'd also do it tonight. When I took the test strip with my second and I saw the faint line I just went to the boots straight a way to get a digital and just didn't wait for anything 😀

Thank you all for the suggestions! I have decided to take it tomorrow morning first thing (even though you’re probably right isn’t going to make a huge difference), but as I think I’m in reality 15 dpo and not 17 as the app Flo says, maybe it will make a small difference. 🤞🏻
Anyway I’ll let you know!
In the meantime my breast has become a little more tender and heavy today compared to yesterday, so maybe that’s a good sign, or maybe it’s not, I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

Tests will often show from about 12dpo so whether it’s 15 or 17 doesn’t make much difference tbh :)

I took the test this morning and it’s positive!!!
I can’t believe this is happening after a whole year! I’m so grateful! 🙏🏻
