I did a test today and saw a very faint line (I’m only 8dpo) but after a few minutes it had completely disappeared! Does that mean it was negative? I’ve attached a photo x

I can see the faint line in the photo. Was that before or after it disappeared?

That happened to me and I thought it was negative ... ended up being positive just too early to test . Give it a few more days and test again

Peonies12 · 09/10/2024 16:26

Wait til your period is late x

Mrsspoon3 · 09/10/2024 16:29

Thanks so much @Snowdrops17! That’s really reassuring yours was positive! It was definitely early to test as it says 6 days early, but my period isn’t due until next Wednesday. I was just keen to know as I’ve had lots of miscarriages so have been prescribed progesterone to take as soon as I get a positive test, but I’ll try again in a few days! 😊

@Peonies12 Im trying to catch it before then as I’ve been prescribed progesterone to take from a positive test, and I have lost lots of pregnancies really early x

Best if luck I had a previous loss as well it was actually that one I tested early on but was prescribed progesterone the next pregnancy and the result is asleep beside me here now xxx

Mrsspoon3 · 09/10/2024 16:32

@Snowdrops17 Thanks so much! Sorry to hear about your loss but I’m so glad you had a successful pregnancy with progesterone. Really hoping it will help me as I’ve had 3 consecutive miscarriages now x
