Hi MN

just looking for others experience of using clear blue digital ovulation. I had a flashing smiley face for two days (tested in the mornings) and today ….day 14 of my cycle it was a big fat blank circle. I expected a solid smiley.

can anyone shed some light on what is happening?

I also do the cheap pee sticks and I was showing a solid line yesterday hence the flashing smiley and today is not so dark.

have I missed ovulating?

thanks x

Did you use a different clearblue holder to that used for the flashing smile days?

I think so….. I have two and I picked up one of them yesterday when packing to take on holiday.
I may not be using the same one which might affect it.
i just don’t know why the cheapie pee strips were so dark with a flashing smiley but now fainter even though I should be going up in LH

You need to use the one same holder for a full cycle (all the days you test). If you used 2 different ones then you may have used a different one on the day you got a blank circle as it was essentially seeing that as the first day of you testing which is a baseline.
The flashing smiley is showing increased oestrogen, static smiley is showing peak LH.

You were right.

Ive learnt my lesson and thank you for your advice x

This happened to me once - they don't make it very clear! I thought I'd had an anovulatory cycle before I read into it further.
