I'm just sad, AF arrived today

AF arrived today, 3 days late. All my tests were negative but I still thought I could be. I'm on my 12th cycle ttc now. We're going to look at getting an appointment with the GP now. Just needed to vent. 😢

@Lydi29 same thing happened to me this month! I had lots of weird pink discharge and AF was 3 days late - its never been that late before so I was really hopeful.
Unfortunately mother nature can be a bitch sometimes!

I totally feel you, definitely okay to be sad, it's a rough ride TTC. With my first I'd been trying for a year, the month myself and my husband went to the GP to start testing we got pregnant. That was month 14.

This time around (6 years later!) we've been trying for 10 months (I had a miscarriage in June) I'm now 2 days late and had pink CM a couple of times and so I've kept hoping for a positive test but pretty sure it'll be the same as you :(

Id rather it came early! The month that happened at least I wasn't left hoping and could move onto the next cycle

I'm sorry, I know exactly how your feeling its just dissapointment after dissapointment and its such a hopeless, frustrating feeling.

I don't know if this will be of any use but as soon as we stopped using lube (specifically durex aloe Vera one in a lime green bottle) I caught the first month!!!
I really do believe the lube was stopping it and i had been trying for 10 months. I did also read up on that certian types damage sperm and the mobility. I hadn't even thought about it and we were using almost every time just out of routine/habit I think.
Again I don't know if this will help? Also I found using "my calender" app really good for keeping track of everything, periods, sex etc etc

Hi! Me too 😔 I just feel so let down that after 3 losses conceived on consecutive cycles I now can’t seem to conceive at all! Yesterday I was convinced this time might actually be different, tested negative and now AF is definitely on the way ready for CD1 again tomorrow. I don’t understand, we do everything we can and it amounts to nothing! Definitely with you with the sadness today 😔

Well AF just arrived so I'm definitely now in the same boat! I saw someone else suggest giving yourself a treat when AF arrives so each cycle you're not successful you have a consolation prize.. this month mine was booking a massage so I'm going to do that! (It doesn't replace the sad but gives me something to look forward to)

You're not alone! I've been trying for a year now and AF came today 😭
