Hey all, 4po tomorrow! Would love company to make the days go quicker 😁

Cycle 2 TTC after an early MC last month! DP works nights so trying this month wasn't great timing wise. We managed to BD 5 and 2 days before ovulation so I'm hoping it's enough.

8dpo today and took a test anyway (of course!) swear I'm seeing a vvvfl? Won't get my hopes up though but I'm praying it's really there 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I’m doing alright. Waiting for AF to arrive in a few days. I haven’t really been obsessively testing like usual, but I did today and bfn of course. So I’ll be going into my last cycle before eventually admitting defeat 😂 x

@OverthinkingBrain I got my period, CD3 now.

@lockdownbabyx I have invested in more supplements, more digital OPKs, on a weight loss plan. Mentally I am sad, I have a lot of health anxiety but I didn’t anticipate how much a TTC journey would trigger it, I constantly think something is wrong and chances are it’s not! I’ve got zero losses, one 1st cycle healthy baby and it’s only cycle 4 TTC nr 2. Ugh

how did you decide when to stop?

I’m just fed up of it consuming me and the disappointment for the last 2 years. So I thought the end of the year is a natural cut off point. I’m not going back to contraception of course, so it could still happen, but I won’t be using OPK’s and testing/tracking etc.

I had my Gynae appt earlier this week and she said she doesn’t think ovulation stimulating medication would be helpful as my tests showed ovulation, so it’s basically pretty much unexplained (although I have PCOS 🙄).

I’m sorry AF arrived for you 😔. Everything crossed for next cycle. I’m due on tomorrow or Saturday so will be with you through that! X

@OverthinkingBrain I am ok, upset it hasn’t happened yet and that I’m finding this a difficult process, but I’m about to finish my period, so will have a week of chilling and then back to OPKs and DTD.

@MyGardenDaisies thankfully I already have a daughter. Thinking she was some kind of miracle.

To throw a spanner into the works - I’ve just had another call from a different consultant (still nhs one from my referral), and he’s saying he wants to do a hycosy and start me on letrozole after that procedure 🤷🏻‍♀️. Formally diagnosed me with PCOS (apparently a gp can speculate at it but only a fertility specialist can confirm it). I said I’m just about to give up and he was saying absolutely do not give up he’s here to help, made me well up. My heads boggled 😂

Just to add as well, if anyone is having checks then take gp’s analysis with a pinch of salt.

all my blood work came back as “satisfactory”, but the consultant looked into it in more detail basically saying technically it’s in the range but very low or very high ends

@Marie1990x I would take that as a sign that you should try and work with the consultant !

I have decided not to test at all anymore until I have a missed period by 1 week ( famous last words) as I have seen faint lines or shadows in all 3 cycles on 5 different test types and I don’t think I’ve had 3 chemical pregnancies. Like this was my last one and I still see a faint red line there. Are they all faulty?

I think I’ll just take it easy until I have the medication, as that could still be a long while off.

He also mentioned I have a slightly overactive thyroid which can affect fertility too, so suggested getting a high dose of Vit D. Said the two most important supplements for me are vit d and folic acid.

I don’t know who it was that I spoke to earlier in the week but this was a completely different outcome 😂

I deffos see that :/ how confusing. I don’t like using tests in cases for early testing as always worry it’s just a reflection of a crack or something. How frustrating though

@MyGardenDaisies not sure what other brands you in have used, but have you tried wondfo strips? That's what I've been using this cycle and so far I've had no evaps! (I think)
Considering I started testing from 5/6 dpo lol.
Last cycle I had loads of evaps on easy at home and one step. Xx
