Cycle 2 TTC after an early MC last month! DP works nights so trying this month wasn't great timing wise. We managed to BD 5 and 2 days before ovulation so I'm hoping it's enough.

Hey!! I've been following along with this thread. I'm ttc #1 at 35 and have been waiting for my first real cycle after coming of the pill in July (been on the pill since I was 18) I think I'm dpo 10 today and lying I'm bed wondering if I should test when I get up like @AmberM223 . I was trying to hold out until Wednesday as I know logically it's too early but getting the overwhelming urge to give it a go. I'm definitely falling deep down the ttc rabbit hole. Doesn't help that I've not had a natural period yet so don't know what Af symptoms vs conception symptoms might be but had all the positive opks, ewcm and ovulation cramps so fairly confident I know when I ovulated. Good luck with bfp today!

So… i think i have got a BFP!!! but after reading the latest comments on here about clear blue i’m feeling deflated? The line was faint - but did appear in the time frame and it has colour / not grey! i’ll attach a pic.

What does everyone think???

Well stark white BFN for me this morning, I'm not using these tests ever again! The amount of evaps I've had is ridiculous lol.

I actually have some more tests coming today ready for next cycle but I may take a sneaky one at some point haha

@lockdownbabyx Thank you!! yes there is, mainly more blue to the top of the line. It looks more prominent in person that it does on the pic, but i know it’s quite faint so i’m worried to take it as a BFP

@AmberM223 these were my clear clue tests when i conceived my first, yours looks even more prominent than those! So id def take it as a positive 😊.

@AmberM223 I’d definitely say that’s positive! The evaps I’ve had on clearblue as usually bright blue and thin or broken. Congratulations 😊🤍!

@lockdownbabyx so sorry about your BFN 😔 those fake evaps! Was a BFN for me this morning too!

I’m more annoyed about the fact I’ve just looked at my nhs app and my referral is no longer showing and still don’t have my test results on there. I’m hoping somethings going on in the background 🥴

@MyGardenDaisies @Marie1990x thanks so much ladies, i feel like i can’t take it as a positive i don’t know why! I am so shocked as i have tested a complete total negative up until today, even yesterday morning was a total BFN!!

Do you know if a digital would pick up before period? Or do i have to wait until it’s ‘missed’ for it to detect???

@AmberM223 what dpo are you now? I had a positive digital at 12dpo with DD (I hadn’t used one before so not sure if it would have been picked up sooner).

Yeahhh it’s annoying because it was all going so quick and smoothly. Was hoping they’d approve the medication, but you have to start it on CD2 I think and I’m due on at the end of the week, so would have liked to have it for then. Here I go again being impatient 😂

@Marie1990x i’m 12DPO today! so i might give it until Wed and do a digital, i’m not due on until Thurs/Friday! i never used a digital with my first (i was much calmer) haha i literally did a cheap Wilko test got a positive and left it at that…ah if i was only that chill now 😂😂

Oh yeah so i totally get it, that’s frustrating for you! your allowed to be inpatient! it’s hard when we are not in control of these things 😂xx

@AmberM223 ooo I think you definitely have a chance of it showing on a digital! So exciting! Haha I know the feeling, I wasn’t half as stressed and obsessed last time as I am now!

I think I’ll ring the GP today at some point. I know receptionists can’t give results but maybe they’d be able to give me some kind of inclination. I was going to make an appt with my doctor but I don’t think wasting one of his slots just asking for an update is priority for him 😂

Just to reassure those testing early and getting bfn’s

I looked back on my app to when I got pregnant with my son. I was due on a Tuesday, the Sunday before I tested bfn on a first response. Missed my period still testing negative I got a faint line on a first response on thurs evening so 2 days after my period was due and got a positive on a digital the weekend after my missed period so 4 days late.

my cycles were regular 28 days definitely didn’t ovulate late as all my dates/scans matched up.

I just got my period and now I’m crying at the airport on my own.

Im only 4dpo but my boobs are so sore which is unusual for this time in my cycle but pretty sure its way to soon to have any symptoms 😂

I’ll likely ovulate now again at the end of October, so will take some mental break from Mumsnet and join a November TTC group when I’m ready.
I hope you all get BFPs and I don’t see your names there xx good luck ladies!

Hi everyone, been following along with this thread. I'm 35 ttc number 2. I had a miscarriage in August at 11 weeks and also back in 2018, and have been referred to recurrent early pregnancy loss clinic waiting some tests.
Currently 4dpo hoping to hold out testing until Sunday when I'll be 10dpo. I had positive tests at 8dpo with my son and the miscarriage. No symptoms as yet... Good luck to everyone:)

Digital showed for me with my first at 12dpo, I couldn't believe it until I saw the written words. Tentative congratulations, I'm pleased for you!!

I'd defo give them a call and chase it up! How bloody annoying!!
