Baby aspirin no ovulation so far?

Hi all

Reaching out to any of you who have had aspirin prescribed as a result of MC.

I have been given baby aspirin by a private gynaecologist following a MC this summer. I have been taking it for three weeks or so and this is the first time where I believe I haven't ovulated. This is cycle 2 after first period following MC, the first cycle was a normal length but I'm currently cd24 with no peak whatsoever.

I've been googling and I can see that baby aspirin may delay ovulation and a lot of you have been told to take it from ovulation day as opposed to continuous use?

Hi, I don’t know if it’s helpful or not but I take it continuously and ovulate at the same time (possibly earlier) since starting it. I think there can be a few reasons for ovulating late or skipping a month…

So sorry re your MC. also now take it continuously. The first month I took it j ovulated earlier than usual and tge next month a few days later but I think this is just because I'm not 100 percent regular anyway. I would be surprised if the aspirin had caused the delay for you to be honest. I have researched aspirin and conception pretty widely and seen nothing to suggest it as a possibility. There is a possibility, however, that your body is still settling after your MC. It can take a while, unfortunately. X

Today on CD24 my period has arrived and I haven't been able to identify any LH surge at all this month (started testing 4 days after period finished - maybe this was too late who knows)

Until this morning I thought ok maybe I'll just take aspirin once I ovulate thinking I must have delayed it, but if my period arrived today then I just don't know what's going on to be honest - evidently not a lot.

I have to say, I'm pretty pissed off at this stage and just so deflated about the whole thing. Ovulation kits TWW baby aspirin - I didn't have a clue what any of this meant for DC1 And now i seem like I'm attempting to climb a mountain unsuccessfully 😞

Bless you, it does all get pretty intense doesn’t it. You may have just had a cycle where you didn’t ovulate. It does happen occasionally and is very annoying!!. Think new cycle, new opportunity, easier said than done, I know! Good luck for this cycle.

I know. Common sense is telling me I just need to give it time, but I don't feel I have that at my age and it's a vicious circle of obsessing over it all!

Maybe I will keep going with the aspirin and see what next month brings 🙏🏻🙏🏻
