May I share some good news?

I'm doing IVF. So far we've had three failed transfers, one possibly chemical (only faint line on test day and no progression) and this now was our 5th transfer.

Got this today at 15dp5dt which was official test day. Didn't test early so a lovely surprise, as I had mentally said goodbye to this cycle due to a bout of foos poisoning and vomiting from 2-3dpt. I hope this one sticks!!

Would you keep testing for a bit, or would you just wait for the 7 week clinic scan?

Congratulations! That’s a good strong positive. Well in theory I’d say wait now until the 7 week scan but in reality I’m sure I’d keep testing!

How lovely congratulations!
No need to keep testing, you can drive yourself mad and it doesn't really tell you anything useful anyway. Keep yourself busy while you wait for the scan

Yay congratulations! If you were earlier with lighter lines I'd personally keep testing because I'm a little crazy. With a line like that however I'd stop, not sure if they get much darker than that. It's a good "line stealer" ❤️

Congratulations!! 3 IVF babies here, it's a nerve-wracking time, but try to enjoy. Take each day as it comes, and say to yourself each morning, "today, I am pregnant". No point worrying about all the tomorrows. All the best x

Your post helps me very much 🙏🙏. I am on day 6th today post embryo transfer (transfer 26/9) and I did ivf abroad and on flight back (day 2 post transfer) I started vomiting on flight 🙈 and with the worst stomach cramps and diarrhoea. I have been so sick for 3 long days and only today beginning to feel human. I am so upset this intoxication may have ruined my last embryo 😢😭… I tested today but bfn - think is too early. It is a lonely and tough wait - Any advice is much appreciated 🙏.

How did this end up for you?

@Riley31 ,I know this is probably the hardest decision to make, but stepping out of it for as long as it takes, can help your life journey. One can become so wrapped up otherwise. For us, we are checking even adoption but we are now (after 6 years trying), we are taking time to enjoy each other.’ Remembering why you fell in love is so precious .

@TheOpeningActofSpring i realise I am commenting on a post from nearly two years ago but was hoping to ask what this your 5th transfer all from one egg collection? I am about to have to 4th transfer but of embryos 5 and 6, we’ve had no implantation so far so just looking for some stories of hope as I feel we’ve just had a dodgy batch of embryos :( did you change anything on your protocol if so? My clinic just think we need to keep trying but I feel like something else must be wrong. hope this pregnancy went well for you!
