Period 2 days late and CM but BFN

TTC2 month 8 (took us ages 1st time round)
AF due on Friday
Thursday: CM 'snot-like' on wiping
Friday: a little more CM no period
Sat: a little CM no period
Sunday: nothing, again no period
Got excited and tested this morning but BNF, half dissapointed half WTF....where does this leave me for next month's cycle?!
I use OPKs and I think I ovulated around 13/14 last month, I haven't had a stressful month/haven't lost weight/been unwell etc

Hi, no advice but similar boat, AF is now 3 days late!! Still testing negative, although had a random positive about 5 days ago but think I flooded the test strip so can’t be sure that’s accurate!

Gosh, that is odd! What's the plan keep testing each morning?

Really strange.....from my research:

• not pregnant (reasons include perimenopause, weight loss, stress etc).
• not pregnant (ovulated late and waiting for period)
• not pregnant off cycle
• pregnant (ovulated late)
• pregnant (problem with test

Sooo I think what I plan on doing is testing again in 48hrs (so 24hrs from now) using a different brand of test. As the days go on pending on changes I'll re-start ovulation tests.

I can deal with negative tests (I've had plenty of those in my time) just the uncertainty re period is bugging me.
