TWW - Ovulation 27/9 - Any buddies?!

Hey all!
I’ve enjoyed having a little thread of TWW buddies the last two cycles! I’m 1dpo and can’t seem to see a buddy thread of anyone who’s at a similar point so I made one!

TTC living baby number 2, we have a 2yo and have had 3 losses this year!

Anyone want to join me in this wait?!

As for testing, the earliest possible for a BFP I believe is 8dpo. This has never happened for me but I’ve had faint positives at 9dpo before; one cycle it didn’t really show till 11dpo. My luteal phase is currently only 11 days so really I should wait it out till AF… I won’t but I can say I’ll try!! Haha!

I think 9th October is when AF is due for me if I can hold out that long!

I'm due on 13th but because my cycles are between 30/33 days it could also be a bit late !
Let's hope late means BPF 😅

Hey! I’d love to join too if I may! :) I ovulated I think on 27/9, which puts me at 4dpo today. I’m 35 TTC baby number 1 for 10 months so far. Trying to stay positive but really struggling with feeling absolutely devastated each month with the arrival of AF. I have been to the drs and had bloods and a pelvic scan, all of which were normal - and my husband is awaiting testing at the hospital hopefully in a few weeks, so good to get the ball rolling with that. Desperately trying not to symptom spot, but so far I have had a mild cold since 2dpo along with mild pelvic cramps that I get some months and lot others. Wishing everyone good luck!!

I'm 2 dpo and I've had cramping today too which wouldn't be implantation as too soon so idk what it is !

Thankyou! That’s interesting - I have random mild cramps intermittently for most of my cycle (when not due to AF they’re not enough to take paracetamol for, but definitely noticeable). I always get them between days 6-9dpo which rather unhelpfully makes me think they’re implantation cramps, but I’ve had them every non pregnant cycle! Ive got mild cramps today at 4dpo , which having looked back at my symptoms log I’ve had during one month previously in March, so trying not to get my hopes up! What day is AF due for you?

Hello Ladies, wanting to join you all as i suspect i ovulated around this time too.
My AF is due the 11 October.
I didn't test ovulation this month, and i am quite confused, normaly i do not have CM after ovulation, but now i do and it made me wonder maybe i haven't ovulated yet? going crazy on the calender right now! any thoughts?

@HeartyPanda maybe test your LH just in case ? If you didn't track it's possible that you might be a bit late ovulating ? I'd DTD one more time just in case ? Mine has gone down to 0.1 2 days after my peak which is such a low level, but a day bedore peak I still had some fertile discharge !

I think I ovulated on 28/09 - Flo app has AF dated at 15/10 but not likely as have very irregular periods due to Endo.

Just wondering when the best time to test is? W/C 7th Oct?

@PoppyPeaches It’s so difficult to not symptom spot isn’t it! I feel you with the devastation when AF arrives. I know we’ve not been trying quite as long but I think after my losses the desperation and ultimately the disappointment feels heightened!

@HeartyPanda I’m not sure on the CM sorry! I find mine really difficult to work out!

@Parks17 I believe if you’re pregnant in theory you’d have a positive by 14dpo? So by 12th October if I’ve added up right?

I love that we’re all symptom spotting even though we try not to and know it doesn’t mean anything!!

I actually only have sore boobs but they started being sore before ovulation so they’ve CLEARLY just got a mind of their own!

I got a peak fertility smiley face on 29th September so only 2dpo. Cycle 2 TTC baby #2. We got really lucky with #1 and conceived on our first month of trying. I was 33 then, now 37!

Going to try and wait until 20th October to test if AF doesn’t arrive by then as I will be on holiday! Which inevitably means I’ll be running to the loo every 5mins on hol to check if I’ve come on or not!

I think I'm 9dpo today. Tested with an out of date cheapie strip one and it was negative 😂 need to order some more.

@lochmaree That’s a shame but you seem to allude to the fact the out of date test might not be accurate! It’s also still early days! Fingers crossed for you!

How is everyone doing? I’m at 5dpo now, still too early for anything to happen! Trying to keep my feet warm but it’s a chore in this weather!!

Eeek I know, the waiting is so hard!! I’m 6dpo today and having much the same symptoms - still very stuffy nosed, but no sore Throat which is weird for me, and have been having intermittent mild cramps all 5dpo and 6dpo! Who the hell knows if this is any different to normal, as I seem to cramp so much in every cycle, on really random days! 🤣🤣

I obviously googled loads 😂 and read that the chemical that detects HCG deteriorates over time and these tests are several years out of date. Going into town tomorrow so I'll get one then and test Friday which I estimate to be 10dpo.

I tested today at 7dpo because I’m a crazy person and as expected BFN🙄🙄

@PoppyPeaches I guess time will tell if your symptoms are related to anything! Swear our bodies try to trick us for a laugh!!

Urghhh 8dpo and obviously couldn’t help myself. Spent the whole day trying to convince myself there’s a shadow of a line but obviously there’s not. Telling myself it’s still early!🙄

@Abombflower aww don’t lose hope, it’s still early! Is that an early detection test or a standard one?

They are internet cheapies but they are supposed to be the sensitive ones!

@Abombflower the body only starts producing hcg when the embryo is implanted which is between 6 and 10 dpo , and hcg is only detectable about 2 days after implantation ! So 8 to 12 days. I wouldn't count you out !
