Hi all

I'm after some advice. GP sent me for some bloods and US to see how fertile I am at the age of nearly 41.

My questions are:

Progesterone blood test needs to be done on day 21-22 of the cycle.

What about US - to count follicular reserve and to see if I'm ovulating. Is it best to go few days before ovulation or on the day? Do I just judge it by Flo app? My periods cycles are 26-30 days variable.

FSH, TSH, LH and Gold SST - can they be done on any day of the cycle?

All the private fertility checks include Anti-Mullerian Hormone check - wondering why my GP did not request this. Is it not done on the NHS?

Many thanks for your advice. I need to get this appointments booked well in advance because availablity is really poor in my area.

Good luck to all.

AMH testing is not funded in primary care, i'm not sure your US will be either unless part of a fertilty referral?
