TTC BABY 2 - BREASTFEEDING

I'm still breastfeeding my 12 month old but my periods seem to have returned to their pre pregnancy pattern now. My DH and I have been TTC Baby 2 for 3 months and tonight my period came.

We had 2 year road to conceiving Baby 1 and now I'm feeling sad that we are in for the same again. I'm in my late 30s and ideally would like a very small age gap. So blessed to have Baby 1 and really want to give her a sibling.

Has anyone conceived while breastfeeding?

Finding it hard to relax about the whole thing which I know is not going to help at all.
Any tips to help relax?

Yes, twice 😊 it took me a while until my periods were regular but happened quickly after that. There are some pregnant/TTC while breastfeeding FB pages and Emma Pickett has a great podcast which has an episode on this. Good luck!

I did twice. I was 29 and 31. The fact your periods are back is a good sign. Good luck OP. X
