TWW - who else is in their two week wait?

Hi girls,
Just checking if anyone else is in their TWW and wants to join this thread? I'm 3dpo TTC1. This is cycle #1 following two losses so I'm scared 😅 but trying to stay positive. I'm soooo tired today but definitely too early for symptoms.
How's everyone else doing?

Hi. I'm in.
Think I'm 1 or 2 dpo. I'm waiting for my temps to shift up but I've had my peak on ovulation tests so think ovulation should be done.

TTC #3, cycle 4
Had a chemical pregnancy last month.
Right now I'm feeling quite relaxed but usually start going insane about 5/6 dpo.
This month I'd like to be calm throughout.

Adventureandlight · 14/09/2024 19:18

Hi 👋 2dpo today. Would love some company during the dreaded 2WW. I have a little girl who has just turned 3 who is desperate to be a big sister, and we're trying to conceive baby #2. It's the 4th cycle of trying and we've recently had a chemical pregnancy which was not a lot of fun. Thanks for creating this thread. Glad to have found it!

Also very sorry to hear about your chemical 💔 hopefully this is the cycle for you and your little girl will get a sibling ❤️

Anyone got any symptoms yet? I'm so tired today... I took a 2 hour nap which I never do 😅

I’m 1DPO!!

Already have one big baby (14!) 🥰

LucyLou0527 · 15/09/2024 00:40

I’m 1DPO, been having a terrible stitch feeling on both sides today😩

Bb542 · 15/09/2024 07:32

Oh hopefully the pains on each side are a good sign 🙊 I'd say they are.

I had a metal taste in my mouth yesterday which I only ever get when pregnant (been pregnant twice now but no living babies). We will see...

I'm not sure how all the DPO dates work but according to Flo I should test in 13 days. Absolutely no symptoms but maybe it's too early?

Did you do ovulation tests? You can count yourself as 1DPO two days after you get your peak on the ovulation tests ❤️

I didn't- this is only our second cycle so trying to go "light touch" at the moment.

Thabk you, I'm so sorry you've also had losses. I'm doing ok, we waiting about 4.5 months after the last 1 before trying again but we have now also been told that genetic testing from the last loss showed mosaicism for trisomy 3 so they want us to get a karyotyping blood test and get referred to clinical genetics so a little worried that if this month results in pregnancy it may not be a successful 1 but trying to stay positive.

How are you doing? Also here if you ever need a chat

Great thread
Lots of company for this two week wait.
I'm ok thanks, this is the month out of the last four that I've put the least into it.
Had the occasional beer, not been doing yoga as much, nor DTD as much around OV so I'm feeling fairly relaxed as surely not as likely to have conceived this cycle.

Also know, not a lot of it matters. At my age (41) it's down to having a good or a duff egg really and odds aren't great but it's not impossible. Let's wait and see ☺️

Bb542 · 15/09/2024 19:49

@NphysT I'm so sorry to hear that. Good that they tested the tissue and they're putting a plan in place. I totally get it when you say you're worried if you are pregnant this cycle. I feel the same. They didn't do genetic tests with my pregnancy tissue after my D&C during the summer. They just checked for a molar pregnancy which came back clear. I'm also worried now that I could have a similar issue and not know about it.

Fingers crossed for us both this cycle ❤️

@Bb542 How's the tiredness now? Feeling ok over here thanks although I become such an obsessive symptom spotter so am trying to keep distracted 🙈 I also burn through tests when TTC and the other day actually calculated how many I've done over the last few years. Way too many! Trying not to test until my birthday on 11dpo this time around. When are you planning on testing?

Oh I'm with you with all the money spent on tests. I know I only have two tests in the cupboard and I refuse to buy anymore. I'm 6dpo tomorrow so I'm going to try wait until at least the weekend before testing if my period doesn't come first. What about you?

I was so exhausted today. Probably didn't help that I couldn't sleep last night. How are you doing?

Hi, how is everyone feeling so far. I feel like work is a good distraction but the second I'm home I'm googling everything

pigw · 17/09/2024 06:38

How early does everyone start testing? AF is due on Monday next week. This is our first cycle trying for baby number 1 so not feeling overly confident and I don't track when I'm ovulating. Just want to know now. I'm not good at waiting 😅.

The website Countdown to Pregnancy is so handy (https://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/) You can select how many days past ovulation you are and it will tell you, if you are pregnant, what the chances of getting a positive test are. When trying for baby no. 1 we didn't have any luck until I started tracking ovulation. And it turned out to be at a completely different time to when the app I was tracking my periods with was saying!

Yeah not having tests in the house definitely helps! I'm finding TTC more stressful this time around as I'm obviously older than the first time, and I'm still breastfeeding my first child at bedtime so I don't know how much that will affect my fertility as well. When would your period normally be due?

MamaSads · 17/09/2024 13:43

Hi I'm 3dpo, this is my first time trying since I had my first child 6 years ago which took 9 months of ttc. I hope everyone gets the positive tests they are hoping for

AF is due on Monday for me too. Not too sure yet when I'll test but in the past I've had positives at 8dpo. I'm trying to resist testing until AF but I know myself well enough now to know that won't happen 😂

@Adventureandlight I could be totally wrong but I've heard that BF doesn't affect fertility. I know people who've gotten pregnant while BF before.
AF due for me on Monday. What about you?
