Hi people!
I am so worried that I can’t get pregnant..
partner And I have been ttc for five months, and no luck yet but my GP did my hormonal bloods anyway. Was told they were normal.
She then sent me for a pelvic Ultra sound which I had yesterday. The sonographer said everything looked well (no cysts or polyps or anything) but there was a slight thickness to my endometrium. Due to we’re I was in my cycle (day 20, with a 26-28 day cycle) she said it shouldn’t have been more than 16mm apparently. Mine was measuring 17.5mm. I know it’s not a huge number over what it should be, but I’ve been reading conflicting reports. Some say anything over 15mm at any phase of their cycle and you won’t be able to concieve, some say that it’s anything over 20mm. Has anyone had a similar measurement to me? And gone on to get pregnant? I won’t know the underlying cause yet as I have been referred for a further scan to see if it has gone down into normal range after my period so I have my next scan in 12 days. I have had no abnormal bleeding or any pain or anything so presuming it’s not the big C, what can be done about this? and will it affect my fertility forever, or just until after treatment? Please help!!! X
