PCOS/PCO and short luteal phase advice

Hi, I'm currently TTC with DH. I've had my blood tests back, which are all normal. DH awaiting semen analysis. I ovulate without fail every month, no PCOS symptoms at all. I went for my Transvaginal scan and they've suggested PCOS, because I had 13 follicles on my right ovary and 16 on my left ovary. After doing some research, I'm guessing it's PCO.

My ovulation is always betelween day 17-19, then I experience a short luteal phase (8-10 days with spotting 2-3 days before this). I'm in between fertility doctors at the moment, one private fertility consultant and one with the NHS because it's taking so long. I'm due my HyCoSy tomorrow (equivalent of HSG) with the private Dr.

Does anyone with PCO ovulate around the same time as me, and have a shorter luteal phase? I'm curious to see if it's linked. My private fertility consultant has also prescribed some progesterone pessaries this month for us to try.

Would clomid be suitable for me if I ovulate every month? I just want to ovulate sooner really.

Any advice at all is greatly appreciated!
