I had my third and final embryo transfer and just wondering are there any tips anyone had for getting through the days before test date and any tips I could do to hopefully help.

Treat yourself to a fancy meal, some alcohol free cocktails and have a laugh with people who don't know what you're going through, or do and can help you forget about it for a bit.
Its such a difficult wait, do what you can to keep yourself busy and distracted.
Don't symptom spot
Don't test too early (if you can)
Best of luck 🤞

We actually went on holiday after our embryo transfer, gentle walking in Northumberland. We also watched Rosemary’s Baby (not recommended.)

I bought a fancy bottle of wine I couldn’t drink too and told dp we’d open it when pregnancy test was negative.

DS is now two. I never opened the wine . What grade is your embryo?

@theotherfossilsister I'm going to keep busy and try to not think about test date, my son has just gone back to school after the holidays so that will keep me busy.

I actually had the remaining three embryos we had left transferred as this was the third time, we used a donor for the treatment with the hope of more success. I had the treatment over in Cyprus and did ask my coordinator what the grades of the embryos were as before they were frozen were a 3AA and two EB, she said she update us if those grades had changed as I've read that can happen when they thaw them.

@StarShine23 There's some great things to do, I'm meeting my friend for a catch up and plan on going on some gentle walks with my hubby, my son is back at school so organising things for him will keep me busy too.
Really is a difficult wait and I'm trying not to think too much about test date. I'm trying not to symptom spot too much, but have become aware of lower back ache which started yesterday.
Thank you 🙂

I would suggest eating really nutritious foods, like chicken soup, getting enough protein, taking it very easy with your feet up and watching happy nice tv box sets to stay in a lovely pre result bubble.

@Lotsofthings That sounds really good. Definitely trying to eat more healthy foods, chicken soups sounds nice. Been resting and going to go for a gentle walk shortly.
