Hi all, looking for some advice.

Mirena coil for 5 years -no periods the whole time.

I had my Mirena coil removed 17.07.2024.

Period - 05.08.24 - 09.08.24 - normal length, type to what I can remember.

Flo app says next period is due 02.09.24

TTC and been reading posts on here so bought some easy@home tests as Iv read they are more sensitive.

Took one today (not FMU) and very negative.

Am I out as they say or do I still wait until the 02.09 to test again?

Not tracking ovulation. And DTD a lot! 😉

thanks in advance

Knowing your cycle length would be very useful here - flo can make a lot of assumptions based on average people that may not be accurate for you. Unfortunately cycle lengths can be irregular for a while after you've stopped contraception. Abd your cycle length can just change.

Tracking LH peak would also be extremely useful, too. I highly recommend you start using strips as it helps give you an idea of when your FW is and when you can test. The more you kniw about your cycle, the more you'll know about when to DTD or test.

Assuming you have a 14 day luteal period and that 2/9 is day 14 after the app assumes you ovulated, today you're around 11dpo. Which is not out!

I'd say that especially as you don't know your cycles right now, you're not out til you get a period. No harm in trying!

Thank you so much. I’ll give it a few more days and see what happens 🙂
