Did chemical pregnancy mess up your next cycle?

I had a chemical pregnancy last month. Bled it out and took a pregnancy test afterwards to make sure it's all gone like my maternity clinic recommended, and it was negative.
I decided to track my ovulation with tests this month out of curiosity. I usually just track my cervix, discharge and cycle length for a rough estimate. I tested several days before my normal estimated ovulation date and several after, but they were all negative. Decided not to buy another box of them, because we're not trying per say and I wasn't interested in peeing in a jar for another week 😅 I experienced some of my normal ovulation signs, but they didn't feem quite normal.
Now my period is two days late. Pregnancy tests are negative so far.
So I'm interested to hear your experiences! Did your cycle get messed up after a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage? How much was it off compared to your normal cycle?

I don’t know but I know a « chemical » is an early miscarriage so for sure it can affect the next cycle :/

Okay so um... I took another pregnancy test today. I forgot it on the bathroom table for the entire day. Just now went to throw it away and I swore I saw a faint line, but thought it's a trick of the light. Took the test apart and there is a faint line. And yes, I 100% know it can be an evaporation line given the time it was on the table but... I'll have to keep an eye on this! I think I'll test with a cheap strip in a couple days and with a digital if the cheap ones turn out positive.
First line from the left is test line and it turns to a plus sign (➕️) if positive, you can see a very faint second line there. Second from left is the control line.

How did you get on? In same position 🙈
