Hi,

long time reader, first time posting, af today has caused us to really drop low so just looking for somebody really to say it’s okay.

We lost our daughter at 26 weeks last November, the grief very quickly became an urge/obsession to be parents.

We have not used protection throughout the year, temping and dtd at the correct points, but the end of my cycle never brings the result we want.

We have both loaded up on vitamins coq10, DHA the works, other half is ramming walnuts and Brazil nuts into him like it’s going out of fashion, changed our diets, tried pre seed, tried SMEP. Still not luck, any tips or kind words to keep us going?

Hello, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your baby. What's his name? We lost our first son (first pregnancy) at 22 weeks at the end of May 2024, and I know that only parents who have been through this really understand each other. We also feel the urge to get pregnant again, but nothing comes of it. If you've been trying for 1 year or more, it would be wise to talk to a fertility specialist. I send you my love for you, the dad, the mum that you are both and your angel.

I’m so so sorry for your loss. I don’t have much but I just wanted to comment.

If it reaches a year could you contact your gp for tests? Just to make sure really. It can take a while to concieve, but I know that’s not what you want to hear or of any help to you.

Did your periods return a few months after? and it’s showing you are ovulating etc?

Thank you so much for the message and I’m also so truly sorry you had to suffer such heartbreaking circumstances. Our baby girl was called Eden. Sending all the hope that you will find comfort and happiness again.

Thank you so much for the message, just felt very alone and like it was just me what had suffered this, when I know how many people this can impact.
Had a few bloods through private health at work, all fairly fine, just like to see a few scores a little different by losing some weight. (Far from overweight just carrying a little excess I haven’t shifted from being pregnant before)
Period returned fairly normal in January and half ovulated every month bar one.
