9dpo…. Desperate to POAS

It’a silly because I did a test this morning that was a BFN (I knew it would be!). It’s 9pm and I want to do another even though I know it’ll be the same and it’d be more diluted anyway 😂

I already have one DC, who I conceived on first or second cycle of ttc 4 years ago (and had BFP at 10dpo). I naively thought it would be just as quick this time around but here we are, cycle 5!

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has an urge to test even though I know it’ll be negative?!

@Starburst12I wouldn't worry about that. The results vary so much depending on what youve had to drink and the time of day.
How many dpo are you now?

@PennyPencils 15 I think? AF was due today and hasn’t shown. Stronger line this morning so I’m starting to feel a bit more optimistic!

I think I'm 13dpo and AF due tomorrow. Line on the test was marginally darker. Still very faint for 13dpo.
I think a chemical is likely but that's ok. (Keep telling myself that) I had a few of them before we conceived my last DD.
Would just very much prefer that it suddenly starts to get darker on the tests and all goes well of course.

@PennyPencils have you tried any other brand tests?

I did two clear and simple ones and both were practically negative, but I’ve done 4 other brands and they’re all really strong. Could it be the tests maybe?

@Starburst12 I probably will if it is a bit darker tomorrow. If not I'll wait a bit to see what happens. But that's good to know, thanks. 😊

Not much change. I'd got it wrong and AF is due tomorrow. Line was a tiny bit darker but still I'd be hard pushed to call it a positive test.
Expecting AF. Hoping for a miracle of course 🤗

Well I had a darker test for A couple of days then tested negative before AF arrived. Wasn't a shock. Keeping going.
