Weeks Indicator a sure sign my hcg bloods haven't doubled

Started a thread this morning panicked about my tests not progressing.

So I got my first hcg blood back. 12dpo I was 77, second blood done today at 14dpo. My concern now is for my hcg to double from Wednesday to today it would 77 plus 77 which 153. The 2-3 weeks indicator requires 153 to be 2-3 and it was only 1-2 today for me which tells me my bloods obviously didn't double sigh😪

Doubling HCG is one of those rule of thumb averages trotted out but even +30% over 48 hours has been associated with viable pregnancies. Additionally, progression may not be linear and clearblue indicators aren't necessarily reliable.

I completely get why you're anxious because of your history (though unrelated to HCG progression right?) but you may help yourself more by trying to distract yourself as much as possible over the next few weeks until your first scan. Walks somewhere beautiful, doing anything for someone else, watching whatever you find funny, spending less time on here. Anything which allows you to focus on something else and get into a more serene headspace.

Wishing you much peace and luck.

Completely unrelated to hcg but I can't help but worry. Thank you, you are so right. I need to step away massively from testing

To be honest, CB digital week indicator is banned in the US because of the inaccuracy of the hcg level. I find it easier to stop testing. Sending positive vibes to you !😀

Agree with PPs, the weeks indicators aren't reliable at all. I worried a lot about the same in my first pregnancy and it was a totally normal pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you 🙏

Is it not double every 48-72 hours?

Weeks monitor definitely not accurate, depends on concentration of the urine etc. And some will be measured with the same sample and say different weeks.

Please don't let this worry you, just take it in your stride for now (much easier said than done, I was a POAS addict)

My understanding is that the level of HCG in the blood is not the same as the level of HCG in the urine, which is why many fertility clinics confirm pregnancy using a blood test as they get a confirmation either way sooner. I wouldn't expect the clear blue week's indicator to have moved on, given the projected doubling HCG level is based on blood results. Good luck

I've had multiple miscarriages and alongside blood testing found the indicator with weeks very accurate - I think some women process hcg in their urine faster than others and also it's true that urine levels can be lower than blood. You are so close to the threshold on the basis of 77 doubling I would test today and see what that says x
