Would you skip this month or carry on?

I had an Ectopic pregnancy a year ago and we've only just started to try again.

I'm currently CD 9 and we are going on holiday in a few weeks I will be due my period the day we leave to come home from holiday.
Would you carry on and have unprotected sex now and if we were to conceive would it make any difference at that point in the cycle - A drinking on holiday and B - if it was another ectopic?
Or should I just skip this month?

I’d just keep trying

I don’t think you’d be able to know if it was an ectopic until you’re 6w pregnant as nothing would show up on a scan until then. I don’t think you have to worry about drinking until around that time too as you’ll only know you were pregnant around 5w or so when you miss your period, so I wouldn’t worry about either of those things if it was me.

If you think the pressure/stress of trying and symptom spotting will stress you out on holiday then I would skip for this month. You rarely get a chance to enjoy yourself when ttc, so I would do everything I can to relax and just enjoy each other and my holiday!
