Hiya 😊 last cycle I really enjoyed having a little TWW group on here so I thought I’d see if anyone else is near the start of their TWW now. I’m 1DPO today, third cycle of TTC baby number 2. I think we timed the sex well so let’s see! Anyone else?

Hey, I'm currently about 4DPO and also on cycle 3 of TTC #2! Had a chemical my first cycle but been on holiday this cycle so been trying to take it without ovulation testing etc. Hoping to try wait it out until 13DPO to do a pregnancy test 😬🤞🏻

@imy will you have me back 🤣🤣 I’m 4 dpo I think…. I literally had a positive opk for 3 hours which has never happened before. I’ve continued to test but they are getting lighter and lighter so it must have been right.

Hello - I'm 1dpo - I got my peak on a clearblue digital on cd8 which is a week early. Couldn't dtd on day we had peak but hoping we covered it yday and today. I'm not feeling hopeful though.
Has anyone had any experience on having early ovulation?
I only finished my period on Wednesday 🙈
Would love to have some 2ww buddies!

Sorry I posted this and then ran! I am really stressed at work at the mo - honestly worried it might affect my ability to get pregnant but I did some googling and the evidence around stress is fairly inconclusive. My husband also says worrying about it isn't going to help which is a good point!!

Welcome back @Nic2908 !! Nice to have you again! I actually peaked quite suddenly this month too. Last month I had two peaks and had a really dark line for ages, so I was quite pleased that it was all very straightforward this month!

That's weird @BrodieKD ! I have no experience of that personally. Are your cycles normally the same each month?

@imy it's only my second month of tracking so I'm not sure. I've done another test tonight and it's still flashing so going with it. I'll keep you posted!

@BrodieKD good luck! I'm sure you've tried both but just to say that I much prefer the normal strips to the clearblue. I find it easier to actually see the line and see how it's getting darker or lighter, rather than the flashing/static smiley. (Plus they are so much cheaper!)

@imy I've ordered some and they arrived tomorrow: when is af meant to arrive for you? X

@BrodieKD I have a 13 day luteal phase and I'm due on on the 16th. I'll test early though, probably at 8DPO on Sunday 😊

I caved and tested 😂 6DPO. Convinced I can see a faint glow on the invert but I know it's still too early. I'm working in the office the next two days so probably won't be able to test which is a good thing 😂 might have another go on Friday

I am now thinking I haven't ovulated yet so I have a long wait ahead of me!

Haha don't worry, this is a safe place and we've all done it! I will just give in and test at 8DPO because I just can't resist and I know people do get vv faint lines at 8DPO. It's so close for you!!

I am also 3DPO! Pre ovulation I barely think about TTC, but as soon as I get to 1DPO it's all I can think about and time stands still! When will you test?

Hi @imy & @Cakeisafoodgroup I'm also 3DPO TTC first baby. This is about our 7th cycle I think, no hint of a BFP yet over this time

Can I join? I’m 1 DPO or 2 DPO, I had a peak over an afternoon and the next morning on OPKs so not sure. We managed to DTD ON O-3, O-1 and O+1 - we missed O day due to my husband being sick (although like I mentioned I’m not 100% sure if ovulation was yesterday or today). we’d planned to do the 3 days in a row but oh well! Just because that’s what worked last time.

i ordered some of the cheap dip pregnancy tests - what day do you all reckon you’d start testing with those? I don’t want to test too early and waste them, but I also want to know haha.

Welcome @MrsKurz ! Which tests did you order? Some brands are definitely better than others. I think easy@ home and premom are the best cheapies. You could see a vvv faint line at 8DPO on those potentially. (there may also be other good ones! But that's what I see on here and I got a clear line at 9DPO with my daughter on an easy@ home)

I’m 35, cycle 8/9 (started in December but not seriously until January). I have 2 DC aged 10 and 7 from a previous marriage - swing between feeling hopeful and then hopeless!

@narwhalsarereal welcome to you too! When do you plan on testing?

I’m the same! Manage to put it out of my mind for the first part of my cycle, then the last 2 week it’s on my mind constantly.
I’ve been trying not to test until the day my period is due, just because I get a negative, then feel heartbroken, then get hopeful again, then another negative - rinse and repeat until AF arrives….last cycle I had loads of symptoms, was convinced it had worked and then not even a sniff of a line!

I'm going to wait till AF is due which is the 18th.

Aw fair enough, I do know what you mean with getting hopeful between tests! I think for me I can get it out of my mind much quicker if I test early. I can kid myself and be hopeful from 8DPO - 10DPO but if I don't get a positive on 11DPO I just stop testing and count myself out. Maybe after a few more months of trying I'll drop the early testing!
