Hcg ... is this low? What was your HCG bloods

I had my first positive at 3 weeks 4 day. I'm now 5 weeks and 1 I think!! Not 💯 sure when I ovulated . But my hcg came back today at 788 .. dr says it's not great and wants me in for a scan at early pregnancy unit tomorrow . Is this bad ?

Just wanted to say take what the drs tell you with a pinch of salt. I had bloods done 2 and half weeks after ovulation and the level was in the 60s, I was told it wasn't looking good as this was low apparently. I had more done 2 days later and the levels were in the 1000s. At my first scan I was told the levels were too high and I was put high risk for Down syndrome. Try not to over think X

At 5W1D my hcg was 3,899. Tbh I spent hours on Google when I got my result worrying it was too high but I understand a normal range can be anything from 200 - 7,000. I also think the important thing is whether it doubles in 48 hours rather than the absolute amount. Do you have a second reading? You only need to have ovulated a day or two later than you thought and that will make a big difference.

It's good you're getting an early scan to check on things.

Thankyou for the reassurance. Just been for my scan. There was something in my right ovary and the womb is completely empty. Not even a gestational sack. I'm going back in to see dr in a minute to see what next steps are xx

I went back the next day for bloods , they said if they didn't double it prob was a ectopic but they went from 788 to 1499 so they had a 93% increase and 51 hour doubling time. So they said it's prob just a very early pregnancy and that I'm to go back for a scan in ten days xx

Ps, they say it's more than likely a collapsed corpus lutus or whatever they called in ovary xx

No idea. My Drs refused to do a HCG level blood test even though I'd had 3 miscarriages prior. When I miscarried again the hospital did do blood tests but at the time I was in no frame of mind to ask about any of the results and there's nothing on my medical records on my phone
