Hey girls, advice needed!

I have been TTC for 10 months now, I have an irregular cycle after years on the depo but it’s slowly getting better and cycles are another but I have just got back from holiday and had strange bleeding for a few days… first day which was CD25 bleeding was hardly noticeable, tissue just looked slightly pink. Second day was brown when wiping in the morning followed by brown spotting then third day few spots of red blood so I thought period was coming… I’m now on CD33 and no sign of AF, no period pains or sore boobs which is my usual sign. I have had ever so slight twinges now and then and back ache also appetite is through the roof but nothing else. Tested pretty much every day since the spotting which started a week ago and all negative. Do I wait it out or could it be a chemical? I was considering booking a blood test with GP as if it was a chemical I’d rather know as I am awaiting to see a fertility specialist and I suppose it’s a positive sign I am ovulating (I have given up with OPKs and ordered OvuSense but haven’t used it yet) I am 31 FYI 😊

any advice or suggestions welcome.

I would think a positive would show now if it was- have you had your progesterone levels checked as low progesterone can cause pre period spotting.
I used to spot for a week before full flow started and after taking agnus castus daily- I spot for only 1 day before.

A chemical would show as positive on your test, but then go negative again before 5 weeks. Sadly I had one a few months ago.

If you're spotting but have no positive, I wouldn't suspect pregnancy, sadly - it's probably a hormonal thing, but it might be worth checking in with your GP.

@MrBigsCat yeah spotting isn’t unusual for me it was just the colour which I’ve never had before and my period usually follows but it hasn’t. I think my GP is sick of doing blood tests on me now haha I have a gyno appointment in 2 weeks so hopefully they will shed some more light.
