Line progression (bleeding and not sure what’s going on)

Hi. I’m 12 DPO today and I was just wondering if someone can look to see if they think my tests are getting darker? I started bleeding the day I got my BFP which was 9DPO, so on day 3 of bleeding now, but I feel like my tests are getting slightly darker, so I don’t really know what’s going on. It’s just when I wipe, but obviously still concerning. I thought a chemical, but my tests aren’t fading.

Here is the first test at 9DPO

And here’s todays (12DPO)

Would you say that they are getting darker as expected?

It's quite hard to say on two tests that aren't together - I'd say I can see some progression but as the lighting is different its hard. Testing for progession is crazy-making and stressful, if you can I'd step away from the tests.. if you can't put them together and use the same brand. I convinced myself that I was miscarrying my DS because of progression.

How long is your luteal phase usually? 10dpo would be a little early for your period. Bleeding can happen in a healthy pregnancy and although it's alarming it doesn't have to mean doom.

I would say if it carries on beyond a few days head to your nearest Early Pregnancy Unit, they can offer bloods and scans to help understand what's going on

@ADreamIsAWishYourArseMakes thanks so much for looking. I appreciate it’s tricky to see when they are not side by side, but I find outside of the test window these tests go quite yellow making it hard to see the lines.

My LP is 10-11 days, so the bleeding started bang on time for AF, but if it was a chemical I would have thought the lines would be getting darker.

I’ll definitely have a look at where my closest early pregnancy unit is and will head there if the bleeding continues/tests don’t start to fade x

@ADreamIsAWishYourArseMakes also worth saying that I had a positive on a FRER and CB digital yesterday too

@ADreamIsAWishYourArseMakes that should have said I ‘wouldn’t’ have thought the lines would be getting darker
