Hi,
I’m approx 16dpo today predicted using OPKs. Yesterday I did a Superdrug test which showed a vvvvv faint but coloured line and then did two clear blue week indicators which said not pregnant. They were both with afternoon urine.
this morning I saved my FMU and got boots ealry detection which are more sensitive and again is showing a second line but vvvvv faint. I’m really worried the lines should be darker. I’ve never ever even had a squinter of a positive test before in ten years TTC on and off !
also in past day 21 blood tests I have always had low pregesterone should I be worried about that? The only thing I’ve changed last 3 months is I went on Keto based and then switched to carnivore diet.
im so worried I don’t know where to start or what to do. Please help ! 😭😭😯🥹😂

thinking maybe I implanted late but then Dr Google keeps telling me that’s a really bad thing . I think I just need to wait it out right as hard as it is?

Fingers crossed for you! You’re right at this stage I’d wait as long as you can and then take another test. Best of luck!

@AthenaBasil thank you! Trying to switch my brain off.

Fingers crossed for you. It's really hard to wait, but once the cheap tests arrive you could do one each morning for 2-4 days and see if it's getting darker, you might have ovulated later than you thought, I always found I had a line from about 9 dpo, far earlier than it should show. It often wasn't really dark until 15 dpo at least. Keto can be good for balancing hormones. Make sure you're taking your folate and vitamin d in the meantime :-)

Thank you I will do ❤️

whats the procedure with these things? Should I book a GP appointment or just wait and see how things progress?

Can you contact your doctor for a blood test? They can check hcg and progesterone - if positive pregnancy and low progesterone you could take some? This is only if you’re super worried and can’t wait. Wishing you lots of lick 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 xx

You don’t need a GP appointment just for a positive pregnancy. You’d contact the midwife team for an appointment although you would be best to wait a week or so. Each area is different but I phoned in as soon as I had a positive test but was told to wait a week to call back.

NoRoTrio · 25/07/2024 15:13

Have you got pictures of your test? I’d wait a few days. Hcg should double every 24/48 so you’d expect the lines to get darker using the same brand test

You don’t normally no, but similarly I had a 6 year fertility journey, and my anxiety was through the roof when I got my first faint positive test. I had an hcg blood test which confirmed normal levels and that they were rising correctly. Sometimes waiting for a call weeks later doesn’t help settle the nerves for some, from my experience it was the best thing I did.
