No pregnancy symptoms with BFP at 10 dpo

So I’ve just got my BFP at 9/ 10dpo! During the 2WW I would scroll through mumsnet trying to find symptoms similar to mine so thought it would be helpful for someone if I shared my experience!

I personally had no symptoms leading up to my BFP except some camping at 6dpo which was very similar to my period cramps and it wouldn’t be unusual for to get some cramping a few days before my period! I didn’t have any changes to CM and my boobs felt exactly the same and I wasn’t overly tired either! It just felt like my period was coming so I definitely thought I was out this month🙈

I took a test at 8dpo and was sure I saw a shadow which everyone thought looked like an indent line but slowly my tests became darker!

So just wanted to give some reassurance to those who have no symptoms in their 2WW!

With my first baby I had every symptom under the sun and was kind of expecting the same this time around… I was very wrong😂

The times I have been pregnant (one daughter and one MC) I have had no symptoms, the months I've got BFNs I've had loads! Cramping, nausea, funny pulling sensations..! Turns out after years of being on the pill I don't really know what's normal 😅

The midwife told me that it’s more normal to not have any symptoms at this stage than to have them. They don’t normally kick in until around week 5/6!

I agree with this - I think we all have lots of various 'symptoms' throughout our cycles and I do think it's rare to get true pregnancy symptoms before you're even 4 weeks. When I was pregnant I started to feel a bit sick around half way through week 5. Full blown symptoms started a week later.
