Rise in resting heart rate, something or nothing?

Hey ladies,

basically my heart rate in the last 2 days has gone up. Only my resting heart rate. IV only been wearing my watch for a couple of months and I’m very new to this tech so could be nothing at all.
I have felt really warm the last 2 days and worn less clothes than normal and had a temp of 37.4 (really high for me I’m a cold person) today the temp has calmed down a little so I thought maybe my body was fighting something (I feel fine) but today my temp is lower and my heart rate has gone up more. Trying not to get hopeful as we have been trying ages without so much as a false positive. Maybe I’m reading it wrong.
Any thoughts welcome, or just company. Oh I’m 7dpo

Yes! The first sign of anything for me was my resting heart rate went right up. Started around 7dpo for me as well so fingers crossed!!

I’m day 7 but I am now thinking maybe it’s just a blip. How much did yours rise by please? And how soon after did you get your bfp. I’m praying but at this point I’m not too optimistic

Mine rose at around 10/11 dpo with both pregnancies. But mine would also go up a little before my period came. 🤞 for you!

Duckgirl · 17/07/2024 20:00

@Peonies12 ah, maybe that’s what it is then. Thank you 🙏

These were my first signs! My temp kept going up and up and I didn’t have much of a dip same with the RHR I think it went up by say 1bpm every couple of days. I didn’t test till my period was due (13 dpo maybe?) it was so long ago I can’t remember exactly. But all good signs for you! Good luck 🥰

@Mama09876
iv had a slight raised temp the last couple of days. Not my bbt but through the day. Didn’t think it could be linked as I’m so early past ovulation.
mine has not gone up a little but loads. Maybe the readings are not accurate today? Like I was moving or eating at the time as yest was 68bpm and today 79. That seems crazy to me.

@Mama09876 sorry just a correction my data has updated and it’s now saying 71. So from 64 -68 then 68- 71.

I can’t quite remember mine to be honest, it was in a Fitbit and now I have an iwatch I don’t think mine jump as much but I don’t know how accurate the health data on the I phone is compared to the Fitbit. But I think it’s all good signs! Got everything crossed for you 🥰

Mama09876 · 17/07/2024 21:44

I’ve just checked mine and it’s all over the place 😂 (I’m 100% not pregnant) 69 today 59 yesterday. 63 the day before then 65.

I found with the Fitbit I seen more of a gradual rise in my RHR.
there was a group on here I found, this was back in 2020/2021, that was really useful with RHR! If you use the search button to find it I think it’ll help to have a read through.

@Mama09876 iv got an Apple Watch but only had it a couple of months. I’m also terrible with tech 🤣🤣
it was reading really high earlier but has now come down. I guess as the day is ending it’s sorting out the data. It’s gone from 79 -69 still higher but only by 1. I hope what you say is the reason. It’s been so long I’m not sure if I would believe it if it was

It went up quite a bit from around 75ish to about 110!

Duckgirl · 17/07/2024 22:11

@Mama09876 so annoyingly it’s gone down. I guess because I’m new to this is didn’t realise it would change so much. It’s now adverahed at 70. I’ll try upload an updated picture. Feeling a bit silly now that I thought it could be something. Looking back I have had one other day in the past where my rate was 69. I’m not sure how much fluctuation other people have.

The one with lots of dots on is over a month. Just wanted to give a clearer picture as now they have come down I don’t think it looks like anything anymore 😞

@Mama09876 chart went down yest but then up again today. Thinking it could be heat as well though as 29 here today, (hot for us) reading the internet is so confusing as it says on some sites that rhr always rises through lutéal phase. Confused!!
