Looking to start a thread for those trying to conceive for a few months or more.

This technically will be pregnancy #4 for me but first surviving child. In the last two years I've had 2 early mc's, and unfortunately 8 months ago my baby twin boys died when I gave birth at 30 weeks. One of my babies was stillborn and my other boy lived for 4 days.

We started trying again very quickly so we're on month 7 now. I got pregnant very fast brfore, so im finding it very hard to accept im not conceiving as fast and still trying to grieve and recover from my sons death and the birth.

We've recently had fertility tests done. Everything is clear and my ovarian reserve is very high so that's a relief. I do need to lose a bit of baby weight but I wasn't much lighter when I got pregnant before so I'm not sure if that's effecting it.

Would love to start a thread with similar people trying to conceive and it's taking a while. I know 7 months is nothing in the grand scheme of things but this journey has been going on for 2 years for us since we had our first miscarriage up until our twins deaths at Christmas. Plus the added trauma and grief has been terrible. Hopefully this Christmas will be better. I'm 9dpo today bfn of course.

Thank you. It's a hard journey isn't it? Just have to keep hoping

Hi Ella, we have been on another thread or two together before.

I'm on cycle 7, but that has taken 10 months to get to, as my cycles are long. I've got PCOS, I'm 31 and this would be my first child.

I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through.

I got pregnant first time last time and am now on cycle 4 and beginning to get very sad about it. I know it's not long to wait (perfectly normal in fact!) but I think because the first was so quick I have found myself already questioning if it's ever going to happen.

Hoping it happens for us soon. The silent sadness of being disappointed each month is really difficult.
