Infertility diagnosis but period late?

Spent 2 years having IVF to have our son, who is now 14 months. Husband was told he has low sperm motility and mobility, we were told it was practically impossible to ever conceive naturally. On top of that I have endometriosis and one tube completely blocked.
I’m now 2 days late (never usually late), I’m going to take a test at the weekend if period doesn’t show but I can’t get my head around the fact I could be naturally pregnant. We spent £12,000 on IVF and 4 years in total ttc to have my son, surely I can’t be!
Looking for any other similar stories where you’ve gotten pregnant naturally second time around? I’m struggling to let myself think it’s even possible

Not the second time but first time.

5 years of fertility treatment, IUI and IVF. I was undiagnosed. DH was low motility and low mobility and was told it wouldn’t happen without help.

pretty much gave up hope. Next cycle I was somehow pregnant. Then with DC2 the same - we said we would just ‘see what happens’ and I was pregnant again that next month. It was incredibly lucky and I still can’t believe how it turned out considering how it was an adamant NO and none of the interventions had worked.

It's not impossible. My son is IVF and he's 2. We were ttc a second and I fell pregnant naturally under a year. This is with severe low sperm count (we needed icsi too for ivf).
It can definitely happen but there are also other reasons why your period is late. X

fingers crossed for you OP! low sperm count doesn't mean no sperm at all! it only takes 1 to conceive😁and even if you have a blocked fallopian tube, If im correct we have 2 of them, so yeah there is definitely a possibility here

keep us posted! x

Thanks everyone, I couldn’t wait until the weekend, so just popped out and got a test! It’s positive. I’m in actual shock , I can’t believe it.
I was told I was high risk for ectopic so a little worried about that but hopefully all will be fine.

That happened to me too. Spent years trying for 1st and conceived with IVF.
Fell pregnant with 2nd baby after literally 1 try!

Definitely take a test. It can 100% happen. I literally found out I was pregnant the day I was scheduled to go in for PCOS ovary imaging.
