Hi all,
I had my first clomid cycle this month and ovulated on cycle day 18.
I am 7 DPO and have had bloating and constipation as well as Vivid dreams for the last 3 days. I read that clomid can have these side affects well after the five days of taking it. I am now worried that its not possible pregnancy symptoms and instead its just the clomid side effects.
my symptoms generally have been fine Cramping a few days ago
vivid dreams
bloating and a bit of constipation in the evening.
I didn’t really have bad side effects whilst taking the clomid.
anyone have any advice or had the same issue?

Sorry I can’t help with your question, but wishing you the best of luck for your cycle! I’m 40 + days into my cycle and due a period any time soon and trying clomid on my next cycle. Were you ovulating previously? I’m really inconsistently ovulating (about twice in the last year) and I have everything crossed that clomid is what I need 🤞🏻

thank you!

I have a 2.5 yr old who I conceived naturally first time then after giving birth my hormones went all over the place and the doctor said I have pcos. Since then I haven’t ovulated my cycles have gotten better since last year but its taken a lot of lifestyle changes and supplements. But, i still never ovulated until I took my first round of clomid this month.

clomid is good for making you ovulate, I had a follicle scan and then just did OPK until i got a darker line, just seeing the flashing smiley on CB opk made my year haha
wishing you all the best on your clomid cycle and Ttc journey I know it can be a hard time. 🩷

Almost a 2 year old, who I conceived naturally too! Took us over a year though and had really long cycles!
I’ve been ovulating some months, a couple in the last year! But when I do ovulate, my luteal phase is really short! Hoping clomid will fix both these issues! I’ve never been so keen for my period to arrive, for me to start this cycle! I’m feeling so hopeful! 🤞🏻 to you!

Hi! Sorry to jump on, but I have never heard of anyone having the same issue as me. I have regular periods since having my son, but out of 9 cycles (34 day cycles) I have ovulated once and my luteal phase was 7 days. It seems to change whether I ovulate or not. Have you had an answer why you have this? or is it just put down to PCOS? I have progesterone to lengthen my periods once I take clomid.

@Ldougal92 hi! No, no answers! Do you have clomid now? I started my first cycle this month, I’ve. been given two cycles of Clomid. Havd you been given progesterone to lengthen luteal phase? I wasnt and just given clomid. I was told the hormones from the clomid could help my luteal phase, but im doubtful. Will see what happens this month. Good luck to you too!!
