Positive ovulation 5 days in a row?

I came off my progesterone only/mini pill 10 days ago. Last time I got pregnant it took me 3-4 months to start ovulating after I came off this pill, so was expecting same again.

But my ovulation tests arrived 5 days after I stopped taking the pill and I thought, why not take one, and it was positive. I googled it and apparently it is possible to ovulate so soon after stopping progesterone only pill.

I've taken a test every day for the last 5 days to see what's going on and they've all been positive. Not at dark as the control line but a good line, not faint at all. Are my tests just faulty? I don't think this is normal? Any advice about whether I'm actually ovulating?? TIA

Update: My husband took a test and apparently he is ovulating too, so I think they are duds 😂

⚠️ ovulation tests don’t work the same as pregnancy tests, a positive ovulation test is ONLY if the left line is stronger than the control line.

if it’s lighter: test is negative
if it’s same intensity: test is negative

Hi OP, it doesn’t sound like your tests are positive. I’ve attached a pic of mine so you can see what it can look like and what a positive does look like. Only the one in the pic where it’s highlighted dark purple is positive.
