TTC for 4 years, faint pos or evap?

Hello, please can you have a look at my pic and see if you think it's an evap or a faint positive? Im on day 40 of cycle but I have PCOS and so everything is all over the place. POAS last night, neg. POAS this morning but it was about 11am, not FMU, resulting pic. Did two more tests about 12.45, very negative. When I first look the line looks kinda pink and then the more I stare the more grey it becomes 🤣 I darent mention to husband so I'm just sat in my own head today and I'm driving myself insane. It's an evap right?

Did it come up in the time? And before you opened the test? If so then I'd say a tentative positive...everything crossed for you

It came up in 3-4 mins, I peed, then water flossed and brushed my teeth and then I checked it and yes, before I opened it. I wanted to get a closer look 🫣 I've got butterflies just thinking about it, I really hope so. It's been a long 4 years 😥

I bet, TTC is such a slog! Definitely stop drinking water early tonight for a nice strong wee in the morning to test 🤞

So sorry @Whostoblame but completely know the feeling. I'm approaching cycle 30 or something now, the last couple of cycles I've either had CPs or this process is making me so crazy I'm spotting ALLL the sodding indents! Including one on a Boots test that I took on the first day of AF (dunno why, the bleeding wasn't exactly ambiguous), looked negative at the time, but seemed to have a line the next day. Sigh....it's so gutting though when that tiny shred of hope departs. Take care....
