Is dtd every other day enough. Been advised to try this.

Is dtd every other day enough to conceive. After a very traumatic twin neonatal death last year in which I lost both of my twin sons within a week of each other, I've been advised to dump the opks and dtd every other day as opks and temps ect have made me obsessive and naturally stressed. I'm happy to do it but obviously the lack of control is freaking me out. Is every second day enough.

More than enough yes

Yes, but if you don’t know you ovulated you would need to keep going until your AF arrives just incase you ovulate late I guess.

Could you check bbt- then once it rises you know the pressure is off DTD and also know when to expect AF?

That's a great idea. I'm so exhausted from it and trying to grieve and move forward.

Sorry to hear of your loss that must by so difficult. Currently 12w pregnant and dtd 3 days and 1 day before ovulation that was it. Of course you’re still grieving and want to try again but it seems an enormous amount of pressure after such a loss to put on yourself. Wishing you luck

Thank you, it was. We were late third trimester so a terrible shock tbh. Thanks so much for your advice

I've been following your story and really feel for you. It's horrific. X

Yes, it's enough as you'll either hit the day before you ovulate or the day of ovulation and both give you a great chance of conceiving. However, if you get tired/can't be bothered then I would just go for the two days before and the day of ovulation. I don't have enough energy for that much sex!

Thank you, I know it's such a dose either way.
