Hi all.
I had a private scan today believing I was 8 weeks almost 9 (according to LMP) but I miscarried and in Feb this year and since had a 35 day cycle.
my cycles have always been 29 plus days!

the sonographer confirmed the pregnant was where it should be, the yolk sac and foetal pole but it was so small at 3.10mm

Im hoping and praying that my baby is okay and im not as far along as I should be.
Has this happened to anyone else?
anyone have any advice?
Thank you in advance x

@Blah90 early scans can be so worrying. How many weeks did they measure you at? Can't remember what 3.1mm comes to in weeks! X

@ThelastRolo20 She didn’t that’s the thing. She was thrown when I told her my thoughts based on my LMP. Im seeing the dr tomorrow morning and hoping she can give me answers!
I think the size would be 6 weeks maybe less. X

@Blah90 so sorry, it's so hard when they aren't particularly clear with you! From memory in Jan (I unfortunately had a miscarriage) I was scanned and they put me at just shy of 6 weeks and I was around 3mm. I was measuring two weeks behind and baby never grew any further than that

For some people though it does work out and I really hope that's the case for you ,❤️

I’m so sorry that happened to you.
its so sad to hear how common miscarriages are.
thanks for you kind words.
Hope you’re ok ❤️ x

Did they say if they saw a heartbeat?

Blah90 · 28/06/2024 06:58

@dammit88 said it was too small. Maybe some flickering wasn’t sure.
im holding on to the hope that im less than I thought.
