Is this normal during a chemical pregnancy?

Hi, I found out I was pregnant at 10dpo but now at 18dpo I’m pretty certain I’m having a chemical pregnancy as lines were not getting darker and I’ve had cramping and bleeding started today.

What I’m wondering is; I’m incredibly bloated down there, I look about 25-30 weeks pregnant!! I get bloated anyway during my period but never this bad.. I wouldn’t say I have any major pain or discomfort, just cramps no worse than a period. Has anyone ever gone through this and had similar? I’m just not sure if I should be concerned by this.

thank you in advance!

Hi I didn’t want to read and run as I had a chemical last month. It’s really hard to say as everyone is so different . I had really bright positives from on CD11,12,13 and a positive 1-2 weeks on a digi. My lines on CD14 went lighter and lighter on CD15 and non existent by CD16. I then started to bleed. I had odd cramps which I tried to convince myself was uterus stretching but my gut feeling was something was wrong.
but that being said I have read so many posts where women have had cramps and bleeding and went on to have healthy babies. My experience of tests becoming lighter though can be an indication of CP. sending you lots of baby dust and pray this is your sticky one xxcc

Unfortunately it’s a chemical pregnancy but hopefully the next sticks around.

I just wasn’t sure if the bloating I have is normal as it seems quite bad. I guess I’ll keep an eye on it. But yeah unfortunately today bleeding is heavier and have clots so zero chance this pregnancy is sticking.

I am so sorry to hear this. I was pretty bloated but it went towards the end of my bleed.
I have suffered quite bad mentally by this. I hope you are able to move on and try again. Lots of baby dust for the next xx

Firstly, I am sorry for your loss. Secondly, I have been thinking if I should post on your thread because I don't have an answer for you regarding the bloating. However I did have a CP at the beginning of last month but didn't have symptoms. I bled heavily for 3 days, 1 day of nothing, 3 days of light spotting.
Some people recover really fast and get pregnant during the first cycle after CP and some people don't. I am currently on CD14 of the second cycle. You can try immediately after bleeding and hopefully you will get a BFP soon!
