8DPO BFN feeling deflated. Anyone else in TWW?

First time posting here. At present I’m getting BFN on easy @ home. (I know it’s early!)

this is month 5 ttc and I was so sure we dtd on the correct days and feeling hopeful but now my hopes are being dashed away one bfn at a time lol

my ‘symptoms’ so far include diarrhea (sorry tmi) but this happens also before AF and slight niggly poking feelings in the uterus but super faint. No real cramps, no cm, no painful boobs (fuller but no pain)

I had a super dark positive opk on 13/06/24 which would be make (I think) 8DPO today (22/6/24)

I guess this is more of a rant post about how fed up I’m feeling and just wanting that positive and whether people could join the tww with me and other success stories? I’ve searched every corner of the internet hoping for answers I know aren’t there but it’s nice seeing everyone comparing symptoms/signs and finally getting that bfp we all want!!

Hi I am here to join you in the TWW! I’m 8dpo the same as you just going by a positive OPK on 13/06. We only managed to dtd twice over my fertile days so I’m really hoping this is enough!
I’m not really having any ‘symptoms’ today. I had some cramping 6-7dpo and thought my boobs were sore but I’m probably imagining/wishful thinking tbh! It’s mad how crazy this TWW makes me 😂
I haven’t taken a test yet but have some internet cheapies coming today.

Lets hope this is our month 🤞🏻

Hi and thanks for joining the wait! Fingers crossed this is our month. I usually get tender boobs before AF but absolutely zilch this time so I’m almost taking that as a ‘symptom’ the lack of one lol

wish I had waited to take a test knowing 8dpo would be too early. Will you take a test tomorrow when they arrive at 9po? Will this be your first? I’m guessing by your name possibly not! Sending baby dust!

I also get tender boobs before AF but usually a couple of days before. Yes! Let’s how that is one of your symptoms haha.
it’s so tempting to test early though isn’t it. Especially when you see some people on here getting positives from 8dpo so have faith it can happen! Well the Amazon driver has just been and they’re here. So I will definitely be testing from tomorrow morning and every day from then!
Fingers crossed this will be my second. I have a little boy who will be 3 in September. Will this be your first?

yes this will be my first. Feel like it’ll never happen at this rate! Can you remember what symptoms you had leading up to your pregnancy with your little boy?
Really want to try a First response early detection but they’re so expensive imo. Especially when you can buy 25 tests for a tenner on Amazon.

it’s so normal to feel that way, especially when you are doing everything you can for that positive.
in all honestly I can’t remember what symptoms I had very early on with my son. We were trying but were not tracking anything just DTD every other day so I didn’t really have a TWW. I did get pregnant in March this year which sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy but again we did what we did when trying for my son so wasn’t tracking anything. One day I just felt really sick, I just didn’t feel right. I had heightened sense of smell and my boobs were really sore in general so I took a test. So these last couple of months is the first time I’ve actually been tracking ovulation and symptom spotting (which has turned me into a crazy woman) haha. How are you finding it all?

it sounds like you’ve done everything you can this month so hopefully it works out for you!
Im finding it pretty crappy not gonna lie. I’m using the Flo notes section to rant and rave which does make for a laugh looking back at previous months when symptom comparing. The TWW certainly does turn you into a crazy person.
The biggest stressor when in the ovulation phase is getting mine and OH libido to line up lol we managed 3 days on the trot leading up to and including day of ovulation so if it doesn’t happen this month I’ll feel gutted.

Sorry completely forgot to reply about tests. I completely agree about first response early detection and the price of them! I’d want to know I’m definitely going to get a positive haha. I have heard boots only early detection are good though and I’ve just looked and you can get 2 tests for £8.99.

sounds like you’ve done everything you can this month and have definitely caught the most fertile days! And I totally agree. There’s sooo much pressure on timings and you still want it to be enjoyable for you both.

haha well atleast you can look back and laugh at your notes. I started writing notes on my phone this month with ‘symptoms’ from 2dpo 🙈

I think I might be pregnant… super early test this morning but it came up straight away.

I’ve just done a test and no hint of a line this morning so will test again tomorrow

@Boymom21 the test has come back exactly the same on the easy @ home ones. But on the less sensitive £land one it’s neg. So think it’s still very early. I’ve ordered some FRER and will likely buy a CB from the shop today.

I think this has confirmed it for me. I have to say I am absolutely terrified and happy at the same time. It’s still so early and anything can happen, that’s all I keep thinking!!
